Project Details

The Objective

The Sea Beyond website will celebrate the spirit of community, philanthropy, and adventure embodied by its namesake yacht. The site will highlight the vessel’s role in charitable events, showcase memories from guests, and provide a central hub for photo sharing and event participation. The project is designed with simplicity, elegance, and easy admin functionality in mind.

Scope of Work

The Launch Plan

Website Design & Development (Wix platform)

The site will include the following pages:


  • Home – Hero image, short intro to the yacht and its mission

  • About – A profile of the owner and the charitable causes supported

  • Events – Upcoming events list with RSVP functionality

  • Gallery – Rotating guest photo display and upload feature

  • Privacy Policy – Basic legal/privacy language

  • Consent Form – Consent agreement for guests submitting photos


Custom Features:

  • Photo Upload Workflow:

    • Image submission form for guests

    • Consent checkbox acknowledging rights to use the photo on the site

    • Moderation system for admin to approve/reject uploads

    • Dynamic gallery to display approved images


  • RSVP Functionality (if needed — included at no additional cost)::

    • Custom form for event sign-ups

    • Optional document upload or event flyer embed

    • Admin-editable event details


  • Training Session:

    • 30–45 minute training (or recorded tutorial) to walk through how to:

      • Approve photo submissions

      • Edit events and content

      • Navigate Wix’s backend and media manager

Week 1


Day 1–3:

Initial discovery and research. Gather requirements, clarify objectives, and establish key design elements, including site architecture and visual direction.


Day 4–5:

Present initial design concepts — including wireframes and homepage look & feel — for feedback.


Day 6–7:

Refine designs based on feedback, finalize the homepage, and begin building interior pages (About, Events, Gallery, Consent Form, Privacy Policy).




Week 2


Day 1–3:

Begin full website development on Wix. Set up site structure and begin integrating custom features (photo upload form, RSVP functionality).


Day 4–5:

Complete development of primary features: photo moderation workflow, guest gallery, event list, and submission forms.


Day 6–7:

Test for mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, performance, and basic SEO setup (page titles, descriptions, image alt tags).




Week 3


Day 1–3:

Integrate all finalized content: images, copy, event details, and submission forms. Configure dynamic gallery and admin permissions.


Day 4–5:

Conduct thorough testing: form submissions, email confirmations (if applicable), image moderation, and user flow review. Present for client feedback.


Day 6–7:

Launch the site. Provide post-launch support and deliver a training session to walk through content updates, photo approvals, and event management.


The schedule above outlines the projected weekly workflow for the Sea Beyond website. Specific start dates and milestones will be finalized once the project officially kicks off. All timelines are subject to adjustment based on client responsiveness, availability of content, and any scope changes during the project.
